Word of Life Lutheran School is supported by the members of two south side Milwaukee congregations. Centennial and St. Andrew congregations support our students with their prayers, volunteer efforts, and offerings. Pastors Anderson and Miller give their spiritual leadership and teach religion classes.

Word of Life Evangelical Lutheran School is a joint ministry of Centennial and St. Andrew congregations. These WELS (Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod) congregations work together to provide a Christ-centered education from pre-school through the eighth grade.

Our school was begun to provide the children of our congregations and the community with a high quality, well-rounded, Christian education. It has served the community for over 50 years.

Our school is one of more than 360 elementary schools and 250 preschools within the WELS.
