There are many ways in which you can support
your school. Only a few are highlighted on this
page.
Please begin by praying for your school. Support
your teachers with your time, kind words and
offerings.
Stand by the children by greeting them at
church, attending sporting events and making
your face known at church and school as you give
to the Lord of your time and talents.
Stay aware of the budget of the church and
school. Give generously as the Lord has given to
you. Attend voter's meetings and make sure that
essential elements of ministry are properly
funded.
From time to time the school runs fundraisers to
allow for items not in the budget. Consider
donating to our fundraisers or purchasing
products through our fundraising programs.

FunRaisers
New FunRaiser
opportunities will appear in October. Look
for more opportunities to support your school.
How do FunRaisers work? Supply money for a school bus
to take our children on a field trip. FunRaiser
boards are found in the church narthex. The
names of field trips the children will be taking
this year are printed on the children. Remove
the child with the name of the field trip you
are interested in funding. Write a check -- each
bus costs us $100 to rent -- and give the check
to a teacher or drop it off in the school
office. As a FunRaiser you will receive a thank
you note with pictures of the children enjoying
the field trip you sponsored.

Replace the School Doors
The Word of Life School parent organization,
WOLFPAC, has designated the replacement of the
main entry doors as the fundraising project for
the 2009-2010. We feel the replacement of the
doors will do a great deal for the appearance
and overall security of our school.
This project will be our largest undertaking to
date. We need to raise at least $5,000. To
accomplish our goal, both our Fall and Spring
fund raisers will be dedicated to the
project.
Here are some ways you can be of help:
• Free will baskets at all WOL fellowship
gatherings will be designated for the Door Fund
• Donation envelopes are available for your use
in the school office and our church entries
• A grant request letter has been written for
you to use at your work place if you are able
• Thrivent Financial may be able to partially
match your donation – information is available
in the school office
• WOL is receiving an IRS classification which
will allow your employer to match your donation
if they run such programs
