Word of Life School is located in the Wilson Park / Southlawn area of Milwaukee. Just 1/2 of a mile from St. Luke's Hospital. It is just north of Interstate Hwy. 894 and just west of Interstate Hwy. 94/43 on Milwaukee's South Side.
Word of Life is the continuation of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod's 175 years of commitment to education. Centennial church was founded in 1950 and within two years started a Lutheran Elementary School. In 2001, Centennial joined with St. Andrew congregation and Gethsemane congregation in incorporating Word of Life Lutheran School.
Word of Life now participates in the Milwaukee Parental Choice, Wisconsin Parental Choice and Racine Parental Choice programs as part of its commitment to provide quality, Christian education to our community.
Word of Life is a highly diverse school with 45% of our students being of Hispanic heritage, 25% Caucasian, 15% Asian and 15% African American. We are blessed every day to teach our children of God's love for all people.

Word of Life Lutheran School is located at 3545 S. 23rd Street and is on the north end of the Centennial Lutheran Church property. Visitors may come visit at any time. Just ring the doorbell and introduce yourself to Mr. Krueger and the staff.
