The Lord has commanded Christian parents and congregations to disciple children. Therefore, Word of Life Lutheran Elementary School is a ministry of Centennial and St. Andrew Evangelical Lutheran congregations which has been established to provide a Lutheran elementary education where Christ, through His Word, invites children to come to Him. To carry out this mission, we have set the following objectives:
- to teach the children the elementary truths of God’s Word in accordance with Lutheran doctrine – especially Luther’s Small Catechism – that grow as disciples of Christ
- to provide the children with a quality elementary education so they will be effective Christian citizens who evaluate all things in the light of God’s Word
- to assist the children in discovering and making use of their God-given talents and abilities so they will become more productive members of the Church and society
- to assist the children’s families in providing a Christian environment in the home
- to assist the children’s congregations in their ministry to proclaim the gospel in their community and the world
